I have been a children''s clothing & accessories designer for 7 years. Throughout the years I have had a lot of my customers order headbands and flip flops with my attached accessories. I wanted to come up with something that fit to these items so my customers only had to purchase the accessories they wanted to attach to their flip flops and headbands. I soon discovered that our Connectz straps works on pet collars also;-) The neat part about our product is that you can interchange as often as you would like. I have always been a creative person at heart. When my daughter was born 7 years ago, she inspired me to start designing. If I were to tell you 7 years ago where I would like to be doing now I would have never have told you that I will be filing a patent on a product. I think everything in life happens for a reason and you should take any opportunity that comes your way. I have been truly blessed thus far with my wonderful family and my business.

I create handmade tutus and tutu outfits for babies and children. My tutu outfits include a matching onesie which I design on my computer and then press with a professional heat press machine. My tutu outfits are for holiday''s, birthdays, special occasions like weddings etc. My tutus are hand tied with a special technique which provides the poofiest tutu you will ever get your hands on.
The first tutu I made was for a Halloween costume for my dog. After I made the dog''s tutu, everyone started asking me if I could make one for their children, grandchildren, niece, etc. I now sell tutus worldwide, and am expanding my line to be sold in boutiques around the country. We are still doing business as Teddy''s Tiny Tutus, but will be switching everything to our new name \"Pansy Pie\" in the next few months and will be selling on wwww.pansypie.com

I live in St. Louis Missouri with my husband of eight years and my cute little dog. I graduated with my bachelor''s degree in music performance (clarinet) in 2005, but I knew I wanted to do something different. After I started making tutus, I knew I could create a successful business out of of it. Since we are just starting out with expanding things and getting our own website, we are doing well but are excited for the growth and success that''s to come.
Not only do I love making my products, I also love teaching other people how to make them. I have many successful tutorials and training DVDs I have created which have gotten rave reviews by thousands of people who have utilized them. I would love to someday have my own crafty television show like the awesome Martha Stewart! :)
