Patent pending hat design.  Quality hats paired with a dry erase material.

Like a lot of ideas, I’m sure, the dry erase hat came to me very unexpectedly.  I heard a women tell a story on the radio about a guy who made a “custom hat” with glue and glitter.  I immediately started thinking about how cool it would be to have a hat you could instantly customize.  That is when I thought DUDE, DRY ERASE.  I have been spending all my free time on the idea since that day.

Inventor: Jay Alger

I will turn 40 this year.  I have a B.S. in business administration and worked for several years in retail management and inventory auditing.  In 2007 at the age of 38 I went back to school and earned a diploma in Surgical Technology.  I currently work as a Certified Surgical Technologist and spend my free time bringing my invention to market.

Ever since I attended college the first time I have wanted to work for myself.  I have tried to start other small businesses, but none of them worked out.  I know I am on to something with the dry erase hats and I am committed to turn them into a viable business.

I live with my wife Sara in Saukville, WI.  We are expecting twin daughters in August.

Ever since I brought my design to life I have been amazed and thrilled by the reaction the hats get from kids, teens and adults.  Yes, I hope to make some money, but a big motivator for me is the smiles I see when I show people my hats.  People instantly smile, laugh and start coming up with stuff to write on the hat.  If you have an imagination you will have a blast with one of my hats.

On a more inappropriate note, the very first phrase I ever wrote on one of my hats was:

“The World’s Best Pussy Eater”

Hey - this is an awesome invention! My husband owns 2 hats and not only do they look good on him but they make for great conversation and a lot of fun! We take them to baseball and kickball games to cheer on our team - we wear them to events withmore friends - we play a game where everyone takes turns writing on the hat and passing it to the person next to you, gets a lot of good laughs! And my husband wears them just for fun too. And they look good on me too :-) I recommend this hat for anyone, any age!

Hi. I'm Jay the inventor of the Unscripted Lids. I just wanted to mention that every hat is shipped with a dry erase pen that has a handy felt eraser on the cap.

Hand towels have a place in every home. Most hand towels, however often fall from the stove rack or they are always on the opposite side of the room when you actually need them. Sunflower Towels are the simple and easy solution to a regular, inconvenient square towel. Sunflower Towels are particularly appealing in both form and function. Our signature piece is circular in shape with a generous 27.5 inches. We use thick, absorbent, 100% looped cotton in a range of colors with a contrasting edge and an attractive embroidery on each. The embroidery is representative of family and seasonal events. We have patented our ''loop & button'' fastening device, securely attached at the center of every towel so that it can be suspended when not in use and seized quickly. Our towels are appropriate in every bathroom and kitchen, every nursery, child''s bedroom and on every outdoor grill. You can even hang it from your belt loop. With these towels your spills are always taken care of.

These towels were inspired by my life in Europe. There are round towels that they use in Europe, but they could only be hung from a hook because they were secured to a continuous cloth loop. I thought about how inconvenient that is and decided to come up with other ideas that could improve the handiness of the towel. Throughout this thinking process I came up with the idea to fashion the beautifully embroidered towels to a releasable loop that would make it easier to secure to practically anything and this is what we patented. The button loop design is easy to fasten and easy to release making the towel ideals for grabbing on the go. It makes it easy to hang from the towel bar in the bathroom or the stove handle in the kitchen.

Inventor: Lana Hall

My name is Lana Hall. I am originally from Moscow and moved to the United States in 1994. I came here without any knowledge of the language and started to work as a laboratory technician because of my medical background. After years of working in a laboratory, my mind wandered towards more creative and independent outlets. I never thought that my business idea would even be possible. I started without any knowledge of the business world here in America, so I really struggled at first. I worked hard to learn about how to produce these towels and how to sell them. I am so proud of my accomplishments here. My name is Lana Hall. I am originally from Moscow and moved to the United States in 1994. I am extremely proud to sell my ideas here. I hope that my story of accomplishment and dreams will inspire people to believe that they can work towards their dreams and that they can make their ideas a reality.

My dull stove looks a lot better with the towels hanging on the bar. I recommend this to everyone who would like to give their kitchen a makeover.
