It started with my fiancé taking a trip to the store and buying eggs. I asked her to hard-boil them and put them in the freezer. I explained to her that I had a great idea, which required that I go running with frozen eggs! NOTE: Running with frozen eggs is not ideal, nor is it easy to rationalize to your fiancé. I quickly learned that running with frozen eggs was NOT the answer that I had been looking for. The eggs were too bulky, the freeze time was too short, and I hated to have to hold something while I ran. The answer came to me the next morning and I destroyed my fiancé's spa-gel-eye-mask by folding it in half and putting it in the freezer. I then destroyed her CD holder and ripped apart the Velcro strap. The folded frozen gel-eye-mask with a Velcro strap – to maintain a cool surface to the palm of the hand during exercise is the genesis for the BEX Runner.

The BEX Runner is the world’s first wearable core cooling device that provides unprecedented performance benefits before, during and after exercise.
The BEX Runner is being promoted as a Better Exercise Experience (BEX) for premier athletes, amateur athletes, and individuals with active lifestyles, alike. Anna Ercius Warner, VP of Sports Science and Product Testing, explains, “The BEX Runner works by enhancing your body’s natural cooling process. The performance and recovery benefits are significant and the device is completely safe, because it works within your basic physiology.”
What makes the BEX Runner revolutionary is the fact that heat dissipation is not equal to all parts of the body. By maintaining a cool surface to the palm, the BEX Runner, effectively keeps your body’s natural radiator, the palms, cool. Features of the BEX Runner include a patent pending design, a proprietary (ultra-long-lasting) cool gel pack, insulated nylon pouch with wicking materials to maximize cooling, and a Velcro strap to ensure a perfect fit. BEX Runner is available in 3 sizes: Large, Small, and Women’s.

This is NOT rocket science! Everybody knows that if they put their feet in the pool (or the ocean) on a scorching hot summer day that they will feel cooler. And everybody knows that when they wash their hands in cold water after exercise that they will feel refreshed. However, nobody ever stops to wonder WHY.
The palms of the hands and the soles of the feet are unique, in that they are the most distal (cool) regions of the body. Since the body is always trying to protect itself – it makes sense that internal heat would be sent to these regions during exercise in order to keep the vital organs safe.
“Passing The Bar:” was created to be an engaging way to study law and legal reasoning. Using questions modeled after the multi-state portion of the bar exam, this game makes a great supplement for law students, or an entertaining review for legal professionals.
Contents:
- 1 die
- 1 game board
- 6 pawns
- 1 two-minute timer
- 350 Multi-State Bar Exam question cards - 100 legal trivia cards
A pro bono sample of what's inside:
Audrey was hosting a board game convention when one of the inventors ran up to her, out of breath, and said, "Oh my god, you will never believe what just happened! I was walking down the trivia boardgame aisle when Simon ran up to me with blood all over his shirt. He said, 'I just killed the inventor of '80s trivia. I hated the era and he was mocking my boardgame.' He then ran out of the convention center." The prosecution puts Audrey on the stand to testify as to Simon's statement. Simon's attorney objects. What is the result?
Printed and assembled in USA. Some parts made in China.
“Additional NCBE Flashcards:” This is an additional set of Multistate Bar Examination Cards. You can use them with the Passing the Bar board game, or use them as flashcards to help you prepare for the Multistate Bar Exam.
There are 450 Former Bar Exam Questions Released by the National Committee of Bar Examiners. No hypothetical questions here, these are actual questions that were used on recent Bar Exams.
In 2008, Caryn passed her third bar examination and was once again reminded that studying for the bar is a tedious and arduous task. That is why she decided to create the board game “Passing the Bar.” The game, which was tested and reviewed by a board of practicing attorneys, is comprised of flashcards that reinforce material students need to know for the Bar examination.
Along with being a great bar prep supplement, the game is also meant to help law students through their core first and second year law school classes, and is also fun for practicing lawyers to play outside of the courtroom and traditional legal practice.

This game was a fantastic challenge. I am not a lawyer or law student, but, it was fun to play and gave me a deep respect for anyone who can PASS THE BAR.
Look at it as an IQ challenge, that will help develop logic and verbal reasoning skills

This thing is awesome! Growing up in the south, it got pretty hot playing tennis and baseball during the summer. I remember using bags of ice on my neck, wrists, and hands to cool down. What a mess. The bags would inevitably start leaking and by the end … more there would be water everywhere. I wish I had BEX back then. Not only is it so much more convenient, but it also looks so much better than having bags of ice everywhere. Great idea!

I really like the idea of this product, it seems to make sense. I am not a marathon runner by any means! But when it is hot, it is hot here, and anything can help on my jogs. If I can stand to go another half mile or mile, that is that many more … more calories I am burning to get to my weight loss goal and get into that bikini!! I would love to try it out!!

Thanks for all the positive comments!! We are overwhelmed by the great support! Bill thanks for your question. We are working on designing a bike product, along with other products. I am also a big fan of my bike! As you can imagine, biking poses many … more special obstacles. The use of your palm is necessary at all times and having the Bex Runner can make it awkward to hold the handle bars. Hopefully, we will get the chance to create a product created for cycling soon. We will keep all of our information updated on our web site and social media sites. For now, I would suggest that you use the Bex Runner for pre and post cooling, and maybe keep one in your pocket to wear during breaks. That will help to keep you cool during your bike ride and will accelerate your cool down, safely and naturally. I know what it is like to ride a bike, run, or really do anything at all in 115+ degree AZ sun, the heat is crippling. We are working hard to get up and running so that we can create more specific products for all sports! Thanks, again! I hope that helps.
