The Snap A Lap product is a follow on productto Laptop Prop. The benefit to this product is for the mobile user that uses his or her laptop in all sorts of places. This is a universal product that was initially developed for steering wheel attachment. With end user input a decision was made to make this product uiversal so that it can be used for all laptop purposes.

Snap A Lap is a universal laptop stand that works anywhere a laptop can be used. It easily snap on a vehicle steering wheel for ergonomic use for the mobile user while parked at the end of the day at a wifi hot spot. It also is useful on the fold down on airplanes, can be used on the desktop, in a users lap in a chair, or in bed. It is also handy for the computer teck that finds himself in a closet with only a couple chairs trouble shooting with a laptop. In the case of the closet it can be snapped on the back of a chair to creat a virtual desk. With all of the above uses the product still folds flat and can be easily inserted into a laptop bag. There are no metal parts so the product sails through airport security without needing to be removed from the laptop bag.

The Glam Can is very versatile and can also be used in indoor locations with an optional flat surface mounting bracket under a kitchen cabinet, in the kids rooms, basements, dorm rooms, garage, or in utility rooms for your storage or trash needs.
The Glam Can is made with recycled material that is garnered for all elements of weather. This trash container has a push button lid for quick entry and a latching lid for secured closure to eliminate animal and bug entry.
I love the outdoors. When it's warm, I'm always outdoors gardening, entertaining and maintaining a well kept lawn. Litter finds itself onto my lawn on occasion and it is very frustrating having limited options to dispose of this trash. After walking the dog, I also needed somewhere to quickly dispose of dog waste quickly and there wasn't any quick solution. Who wants to travel to the government provided bin in an alleyway to dispose of small trash items? Who wants to take those germs into their household when it belongs outdoors? What about when the kids are outdoors enjoying popsicles and lollipops, where can they quickly dispose of trash? When entertaining outdoors for friends and family is the best we can do is inconveniently pull up a bin from inside of the home? So, I started brainstorming about the various places that I could possibly mount a portable trash can off the ground, away from pests or pets in outdoor locations. Soon after, the idea took off to include indoor locations as well.

I worked in Banking Compliance for a number of years before the big layoff due to a merger provided our recession. The idea had formed in my mind before the layoff but after the layoff I knew a higher power was telling me to pursue my dream from start to finish. Although I tried to block out that whisper for fear of the unknown, I had recurring dreams and could not ignore it any longer. At this point, I decided I would do whatever it took to see my dream into fruition. Sticking with it, through all the ups and downs that comes with product inventing, in a year and a half the Glam Can product was finally on the market.
It’s really quite funny how when you initially start talking about your idea or dream to friends and family the concept is not quite understood because some people can only see the here and now. However, if you strongly believe in your vision and your dream and you do all the necessary footwork to determine there is a market for your idea and continue to talk to people, people will start to come around and understand your vision. I can’t stress enough how important it is not to allow others to discourage you from your dream if you’ve done the necessary steps to determine that there is in fact a market for your product.

I can actually see this being a convenient trash receptacle to use while I'm outdoors grilling. I can conveniently mount it to the side of the grill. This is definitely something I'm going to look into!

While this looks like a great idea, you KNOW there are so many people out there who will use it while driving. Just because they can use a computer, does not mean that they are smart enough to NOT use them while driving.
