At the time of my ah ha moment, I was a two year breast cancer survivor and planned to participate with family and friends in our first major breast cancer walk. I planned a celebration lunch afterwards and wanted to have pink ribbon theme partyware to reinforce the occasion. I couldn’t find pink ribbon partyware in any party store or on the internet. I was disappointed that women didn’t have a way to express how they felt about such a passionate cause that affects all of us in one way or another. It was this moment that I knew I would be the first to bring out a beautiful collection of pink ribbon partyware that would support women with breast cancer. I knew this would be my way of giving the many women undergoing treatment and in need of financial support, a voice. Breast cancer financially devastates many families and it was time their voice was heard.
Celebrate in Pink™, LLC was born in June 2008 with these brave women in mind. There were many challenges faced along the way but there were many Angels who seemed to appear when they were needed. I was given a print angel, a warehouse angel and a partner, all of whom made my dream of bringing the only pink ribbon partyware to the market possible; to them, I am forever thankful.
Inventor: Kathy McEvoy
Kathy McEvoy is a four year breast cancer survivor giving a voice to women needing financial assistance while undergoing treatment by designing unique products that give back. She has taken over 25 years of corporate experience and launched Celebrate In Pink™,LLC in June 2008. It is the sole provider of pink ribbon paper plates and napkins.
Kathy has held various executive level positions with large telecommunication and financial services companies in systems development, operations and product development positions. She has taken all of her corporate experience into creating Celebrate In Pink™,LLC and is dedicated to promoting socially responsible partying that leads to a greater good.
It took me over 9 months of trying to find the right type of printer who could manufacture the paper plates and napkins. I resigned myself to the fact that my dream wasn’t going to come true. As luck would have it, I then attended at tradeshow where I was given the name of a print consultant from an acquaintance I met at the show. I immediately called and emailed to see if she could assist me. I didn’t hear back so I thought this was the end, my dream was over. Six weeks later the print consultant called explaining that she had double knee replacement and at the time of the calls and she couldn’t respond but was happy to help if it was still needed. My Print Angel came through, not only did she find the manufacturer but she insisted on a pro bono arrangement to help a struggling entrepreneur with a passion she too held near and dear to her heart. Without Kerrie, the Celebrate in Pink™ wouldn’t be available…THANK YOU KERRIE! We love you J

Have some of these products and it really mean a great deal to guests that see the Celebrate in Pink message when they or a member of their family have been touched by this terrible disease. It lets them know we think about them and pray for them.

These are great! I remember when we were having a celebration for a friend who is a breast cancer survivor. We were surprised there wasn't any partyware on the market tailored to this subject. We ended up with plain regular items, nothing as elegant … more looking at these. Wish I would have known about these then.

Absolutely love these products. Celebrate in Pink hit the mark! Pink ribbon partyware was impossible to fine until now. While it is great to use in celebrating cancer survivor milestones it is of such a great quality and beautiful design it can be used … more for many occasions. The new tshirts are great too! They are fun while spreading awareness. I love mine and my college daughter asked for one so bought her one too. I love Celebrate in Pink products and am excited about a company delivering quality products while working to help "Save the Girls".
