Simple new way to Help Keep New Drivers Safe. Let others know that there is a new driver on the road by placing a Magnet on the back of the car (line of sight for cars), and a cling in the window (line of sight for truckers).
Tell others to ‘back off’ nicely. Stop the honking and tailgating. Anything that we can do to make the roads a bit safer!
Having gone through 2 new drivers and that experience, and hearing from almost 20 Moms in one day how people were bothering their kids as they were trying to teach them to drive, Karen Klayman a concerned Mom of 3 thought ‘There must be something we can do.” Her husband Alan helped design and create the name STUDENT at the wheel®. They Trademarked that name, along with others, built some prototypes, went to a DMV and asked people their opinion. They liked them. Actually they wanted to buy them. So the Klayman’s had some made ‘In the USA’, went to a Flea market to see if their ‘Great Idea’ would sell. It did. They put them in some local stores, and regional, and a national chain. Wherever the owner/manager likes the idea, it sells.
Inventor: Karen Klayman
Karen Klayman is a Mom of 3 and an inventor. Everyone talks to her. Wherever she goes people tell her their story, and she thinks of products that fit their situation. People buy STUDENT at the wheel® right from her whenever she talks to them about it. And she doesn’t think she can ‘sell’. Which is because she doesn’t sell. She genuinely cares about people, especially kids, and wants everyone’s lives to be that much better. Karen has a bunch of ideas, mostly for kids and their parents, and is waiting to launch the next invention soon…
Face to face over 75% of the sales are either to Teens or influenced by Teens. The Pop Art, Cheetah, and Pink Zebra were all suggested by Teens and designed by their daughter Nicole. The car in the ads and on the packaging is Tyler’s (Klayman son #2), and Tyler took the picture. It really is a Teen driven, family affair.
