Well, I was on a diet and my son William noticed I had lost a lot of weight. He suggested that I should get on his scale to see how much I had lost, believing that this would spur me on, and help to keep me going. I flatly refused, because I hate getting on a scale. And so my son began nagging me (like all sons do) which didn’t work either, even after I stressed that he didn’t understand how awful and overwhelmed I would feel when I saw how much more I had to lose. He thought for a moment and said “mom what you need is a scale that never displays your actual weight only loss or gain”
This was the moment that set the wheels in motion, the development of Quantum Scale patents, and trademarks etc. The name Quantum and Quantum theory is important as this stresses what is so important in the journey of having a successful diet, that one is positive and stays motivated. Seeing is believing, our brain craves positive feedback and seeing only positive -5 or -8 rewires our brain to help us to believe weight loss is possible .The 60year onslaught women have had to endure and live up to is staggering , the ultra thin Hollywood standard has had a catastrophic effects on our mental well being because this is where women have been taught their self worth lies, with these three numbers on the weigh scale thus the fear, dread and shame that has been internalized by them for countless years.

I like the logic and the objective of this product. I want to buy it! You know...this is a great product especially in areas where time is of the essence. For example, I had worked in the restaurant biz for many years and very few times assisted in … more carrying in products from delivery trucks...I remember 2x...I can 'estimate' that the load was off by at least a 5-10 lbs. but with the rush...there was no scale available. The products were pulled to the side...this put every party involved late or delayed...about an hour later I was right...BUT this wasted time. Also, in the prenatal i.c.u. where ounces/lbs. are crucial to life and time to calculate can be saved.
