Square Shooters is a dice game, that has as it's base a set of nine dice that contain an entire deck of playing cards. The dice were originally designed to play poker. However many other games may also be played. Pkg includes rules and a web address where other game instructions may be found. The cards have been sequenced on the dice making it possible to roll any straight flush, four of a kind, and with jokers wild, any poker hand . A velor dice bag will be included to store the dice.
Square Shooters was not the first idea I had had of a game. After making prototypes of my other ideas and submitting them to various agents and being rejected.I learned the novice often make various games with a monopoly type board different theme's. Games need to be unique, not a knock-off of another game. This lead me to thinking of other game possibilities.
Late one evening it occured to me that you could put an entire deck of playing cards on a set of nine dice. I had seen poker dice, but not dice that have the entire deck. I thought maybe no one had because maybe it wasn't possible to place the cards on the dice and sequence them making it possible to roll all 13 four of a kinds and all 40 possible straight flush combinations. I reasoned that if the cards were placed making these possible along with the stratigic placement of jokers( making them wild) , you could then roll any possible poker hand.
After making charts and moving the cards around a few hours I discovered it was possible. So, I proceeded out to the barn dragging my husbands cross-cut saw into my kitchen and I spent the rest of the night cutting little dice sized blocks of wood and hand writing the numbers and suits on the dice, because I had to see them roll!! By then it was about 5 A.M. I'm exhausted, there's saw dust all over the kitchen and I'm too tired to clean up the mess. But I had my first prototype. My husband of course thought I'd either lost my mind or we had a really bad investation of termites!
I spent the next week cutting and pasting cards to my blocks of wood I had painted white. I made 4 sets of dice and I also made a deck of cards that depicted various poker hands, 36 in all. Each player would be trying to roll the poker hand depicted on an upturned card. That was the original game.
I then asked a family of friends, that were avid game players to play test the game and tell me what they thought. I can tell you they rolled the paint right off those dice, THEY LOVED IT!!!
Fast forward 15 years. After reading about a local entrepreneur Jonah White of BillyBob Teeth in a magazine, My best friend contacted Jonah asking for a meeting. He agreed to see us and has helped me find a manufacturer and has be advising me . With his help I sold my first order to Spencers Gifts. Although the version I sold to them is a strip/poker drinking game. There are many games you can play with the Square Shooters dice.
I still want to manufacture and marketing the original game in the form created and I hope to be able to do that soon. But for now we are offering a single set of dice with instructions for various games.

I'm an avid game player. I have always enjoyed the interaction between players, that takes place when playing games, cards, dice, board ( but not video) I don't care if I win or lose, it's the interaction I love.
I'm married to my husband Jim of 17 years. We have between us 4 children, 11 grandchildren. I still work part-time in a shelter care home. I love that too. The residents that is.

Just used this for the J-E-T-S game tonight. Had fun and won some dough. This makes the game a no brainer!
