The Roller Keeper TM is an airtight container that allows you to store wet paint roller covers and eliminate messy clean-ups. The next day, next week or even next month you can return to finish up your painting project. Why throw rollers away when you can reuse them? The Roller Keeper TM is an environmentally friendly product that helps to reduce landfill waste and conserves more than 10 gallons of water that would be wasted washing just one roller.
Additional features include:
- A flared opening at the top of the Roller Keeper TM to insure that no paint drips down the sides of the Roller Keeper TM when inserting a wet roller cover.
- Inside the Roller Keeper TM at the bottom is a reservoir that collects excess paint and keeps it from flowing up into the core of the roller cover.
- The specially designed grips on the side walls “bite” into the roller cover allowing you to extract the roller frame without touching the wet roller.
- On the lid is a sandblasted area where you can write the job name, date and color used.
- You will never lose the lid because of the strapped hinge that lets you hang the Roller Keeper TM from a pegboard or you can store it on a shelf.
The Roller Keeper TM was a concept that came to me in my sleep one night. I was pondering over a dilemma that was brought forth by one of my painters. He had requested that his crew be able to use lamb’s wool roller covers. He explained to me how using these high quality rollers had many benefits (increased production, and a better quality paint job to name a couple).
I let him know that if I were to purchase the lamb’s wool rollers that he requested, that he must take care of them ( clean and store ), in order to get a few uses out of them to justify the additional cost. Soon after I agreed to purchase the lamb’s wool roller covers for my painters to use, I began to receive phone calls from customers complaining that my painters were cleaning the roller covers in their sinks and in their flower beds, creating a mess. I addressed these issues with my painters, however, I realized that they weren’t ready to change their daily routine, just to use the higher quality roller covers.
Later that week, I talked it over with my paint supply representative, who stated that overall the use of higher quality roller covers is at an all time low. We live in a “disposable age” he said. I couldn’t stop thinking about all of those roller covers that were ending up on the landfills.
The Roller Keeper TM solves a major problem and it pays for itself the first time you use it. For about the cost of an average roller cover you can buy a Roller Keeper TM, so every time you reuse that wet roller cover… you’re putting money in your pocket. A month later you can use that wet roller cover for a touch-up kit. Now that’s what I call saving money… and the environment!

Sounds like it would come in handy, reasonably priced. Nothing worse than running out of propane in the middle of the BBQ.

I have a gas-minder and it is very cool. Just like it says, never run out of propane again! Great invention.
