I was in line with a number of other customers chatting with the lady in front of me. She made the comment that someone should invent a means of telling when the fuel was low so she would be able to prevent running out of gas in the middle of a cook-out. I took that as a challenge and began to work on what is now the Propane Gas-Minder.

Now retired, spent a lifetime as a salesman of industrial products, electronic products and ended up opening a computer store with sales and service, closing the store and retiring in December 1998.
Happily married with four grown children.
My leisure like includes golf, billiards and computer time as well as catching up on the reading that there was no time for.
When the truck arrived with 48 boxes of product and we stored them in the basement my wife told me that there was no way I could die and leave her with all those Gas-minders so I guess I have at least till they are gone.

The Roller Keeper TM was a concept that came to me in my sleep one night. I was pondering over a dilemma that was brought forth by one of my painters. He had requested that his crew be able to use lamb’s wool roller covers. He explained to me how using these high quality rollers had many benefits (increased production, and a better quality paint job to name a couple).
I let him know that if I were to purchase the lamb’s wool rollers that he requested, that he must take care of them ( clean and store ), in order to get a few uses out of them to justify the additional cost. Soon after I agreed to purchase the lamb’s wool roller covers for my painters to use, I began to receive phone calls from customers complaining that my painters were cleaning the roller covers in their sinks and in their flower beds, creating a mess. I addressed these issues with my painters, however, I realized that they weren’t ready to change their daily routine, just to use the higher quality roller covers.
Later that week, I talked it over with my paint supply representative, who stated that overall the use of higher quality roller covers is at an all time low. We live in a “disposable age” he said. I couldn’t stop thinking about all of those roller covers that were ending up on the landfills.

Great Product! As professional craftsman and inventor, I specialize in interior renovations and when painting my jobs I use to wrap all my rollers in aluminum foil and/or clear wrap in between coats.
