hairfreé™ - Why you should use it
In my research I learned that most blow dryers reach a top heat of about 175 degree while the heat generated from a flat/curling iron starts at about 200 degrees and can reach a top heat of upwards to 450 degrees, depending on the make and model of the flat/curling iron. That is quite a contrast in temperatures. The flat/curling iron temperature starts at a higher heat degree then the top heat from a blow dryer. That high heat is needed to heat the ceramic coated plates in a flat/curling iron. For years women have been using flat/curling iron to style their hair, why, because for years it was thought to be the best/only way to create a sleek shiny sexy hair style was/is to use high heat. Based on this school of thought and no viable alternative women had no choice but to use that flat/curling iron all the while damaging ones hair in the process with all that heat. That was before hairfreé™.
Again using the ceramic technology is not why I designed/invented the brush but it now turns out it is the brush’s best feature. This was learned during the testing phase of each brush. As the brushes were being tested the results I received were showing that when the brushes were used with a blow dryer the user got the same sleek, shiny, sexy hair style as if they had used a flat/curling iron. The user was/is able to create a sleek and shiny hairstyle using only the heat from the blower dryer. As we all know the difference in heat between a blow dryer and flat/curling iron is very substantial and that heat is potentially harmful. And to think the brush manufacturer I consulted said using ceramic technology on a brush was ineffective.
More times than not, the user, when using a flat/curling iron inadvertently burns and damages their hair. This happens with the improper use of the flat/curling iron by a non-professional. Dermatologist Dr. Mirmirani stated and presented evidence at the American Academy of Dermatology’s Summer Academy Meeting 2008 in Chicago, “We are seeing that when these ceramic flat irons are used at the highest heat setting and on a daily basis to achieve straight hair, they can really take a toll on the structure of the hair and cause very noticeable problems that can be hard to repair.” Unfortunately the damage one does to one’s hair does not show right away. The damage continues to manifests itself over a short period of time. Each and every time a flat/curling is used on your hair, your hair is being burned.
Now that there is a viable alternative to using a flat/curling iron, hairfreé™, I ask you do you want to continue on damaging and burning your hair by using a flat/curling iron? The choice is yours!
hairfreé™ with its ceramic coated plates is making use of the most current hair drying technology and methods. Some of the benefits associated with Ceramic technology include:
* Creating a smooth and polished effect with added natural shine.
* Aids against static build-up.
* Whilst drying the hair the heat is equally distributed for fast and effective styling.
* Hair straightening or curling.
hairfreé™ brushes are unlike any other styling brushes on the market today. hairfreé™ brushes are very versatile, in that, no matter your ethnicity or the type of hair you have, be it fine, thick, curly or straight hair hairfreé™ brushes work well. hairfreé™ brushes can be used as, a regular styling brush or a vent brush. To the best of my knowledge there are no other brushes on the market today that can do that!
Used as a regular styling brush the ceramic coated plates are flush with the body of the brush. Used as a vent type brush the ceramic coated plates are positioned away from the body of the brush, about halfway up the length of the bristle. This position creates a “vent” between the plates and the body of the brush. The venting along with the ceramic coated plates speeds up the drying and styling your hair. Using hairfreé™ as a vent brush also changes the length of the bristle. This in turn allows the user to either create a larger curl or add more fluff to ones hair.
In addition to being versatile hairfreé’™ is a very hygienic free hair brush! Hence the name: hairfreé™. Since hairfreé™ is so easy to clean, after you remove the unwanted hair, you can sanitize hairfreé™ by washing it with warm soapy water and then rinsing. Stand hairfreé™ on its end and let dry. hairfreé™ will never rust. There is no longer any excuse for you to not to clean your hair brush after every use. This insures that hairfreé™ will always be hygiene free.
Growing up I lived in a household with 6 women, my mother and five sisters. Each morning when I went to brush my hair I would always notice more and more hair in my brush. Needless to say my sisters were using my brush and leaving it full of hair. If I wanted to use a clean brush I would have to clean it myself. Now we all know how messy and nasty a chore cleaning a brush can be. Sometimes it was so frustrating I just threw the brush away in disgust. Unfortunately throwing the brush away did not solve the problem. For many years I did nothing to try to solve this problem. It was not until the year 2006 that I finally went to work on a solution to this problem.
In January of 2006 I designed/invented a round self-cleaning hairbrush aimed at solving the problem of cleaning a dirty brush. During the design phase my main focus was coming up with a hairbrush that was easy to clean and keep clean. As I was designing the brush I kept reading about the benefits of using ceramic technology. Not knowing about ceramic technology I consulted with a brush manufacturer I knew, about the use of ceramic technology. His response was that ceramic technology did absolutely nothing and provided no additional benefits when used on/with a brush. I found this very difficult to believe since ceramic is the main ingredient/material used in making a flat/curling work. This is a large part of the referred “ceramic technology”. Although in his opinion the ceramic technology didn’t work, he then went on to state that you need to use it to keep up with the competition. If he only knew how well it really does work!
Armed with the knowledge I learned in designing/inventing the round brush and with production complete I decided to compliment the round brush with a flat one. So in June of 2007 I started the design of the flat self-cleaning hairbrush. The flat brush performs just as well as the round brush but with an added twist, there is a mirror on the bottom side of the bush. During production of the flat brush I continued testing the round brush. I was waiting until the production of the flat brush was complete so that I could market them together. Which brings us to today; hairfreé™ brushes are in stock and are now ready to be sold to the consumer.
