Talking Alarm Clock & Nightlight pre-dated this model and contains additional functionality - namely a talking, interactive game that teaches time on the analog and digital clock (most useful for slightly older children). Interestingly, we found that the "OK to Wake!" nightlight feature in the Teach Me Time! generated a lot of additional buzz online in product reviews and BLOG commentaries. Adam Hocherman founded American Innovative in 2003 and later launched the Onaroo line of "smart products for children and their parents". I recently got one of these from the Black Palm Syndicate! Built like a tank! But still very small and concealable. Same size as my real dogtags and only a bit thicker. And one helluva lot cooler!

I need, need, need this. Well my hubby and I had this issue the other morning. It was dark outside and the kida were in our room with the light on, playing with toys, jumping and carrying on. I happened to look at the clock and it was 5:00a in the … more morning. I quickly sent them back to bed for at least 3 more hours and it was the weekend. Dad's a truck driver so I try to tell them how important his sleep is. Try telling a 6yr old and 2yr old not to get out the bed until 8:30a this is great! Great invention, wish it wasn't sold out or i'd buy it.
