Frozen, ready to use, human grade supplement for sick, recovering, or old dogs. Also a treat (in chew-toys) or an aid to get dogs to drink more water.

Chicken and rice – the old stand-by. The vet tells you to feed this when the dog is sick.

Chicken and oatmeal – have a chubby dog? Put as many green beans (fresh or frozen, not canned please) and carrots in this as you want, add hot water, mix well and pour over the new diet food. Your dog will never know he started a diet.

Chicken, rice and mixed vegetables – dogs with kidney problems tolerate this well. It can also be just a change of flavor for your 4 legged friends.

Chicken, oatmeal and sweet potato – everybody’s favorite. I started with this because I had an old dog who just didn’t want to eat dry food anymore. Mixed with hot water and poured over the dry food – no left-over’s tonight! This is the food that will keep the dog chewing on his Kong for a long time.

Chicken, sweet and white potato – there are more and more dogs with allergies to grains. They deserve a good treat too!

Because I grind the cooked chicken, dogs cannot just pick the meat out and leave the rest in the bowl. When you add hot water to any of my foods, the meat dissolves and makes a broth. If you are concerned that your dog doesn’t drink enough, add a little more water. It is chicken soup without the salt.

The sweet potato foods can be wrapped around a pill, if you don’t use too much food it will all be swallowed at once.

I have fostered over 150 dogs for the Bedford Humane Society. Every now and then, somebody got sick. The vet would tell me to feed chicken and rice. OK. Maybe some people can feed this to only one dog in the house – I can’t. So I would end up cooking pounds and pounds of the stuff, and there was always so little time – work, family etc. One night as I was cleaning up chicken grease, I thought that probably tons of people out there were doing the same thing and wishing they didn’t have to. Why couldn’t I cook and freeze it and sell it to them?? Next day I found out how to make my idea legal and got started.

Inventor: Dee Finch

Born and raised in Germany, I have one trait from my ancestors: I don’t give up easily.  I have been making Peoplefood for 6 years now and working at my other job to pay the bills. My 17 pets (left-over’s from foster days) are spoiled rotten and love to go visit with the people at the Nursing Home where I work. The parrot is a big hit!

I have always liked helping people and animals, even as a kid – it was always me who found the bird with the broken wing.

My little Daisy is the only dog in the house who chose to be here. I used to pet-sit her when her owner had to travel. When she came to pick Daisy up, Daisy hid under the bed. It was clear – “the food here is better, I am staying!” Who could say no?

Peoplefood has helped at least 10 Parvo puppies overcome their disease. I am very proud of that. When they wouldn’t even look at anything else, they would eat Peoplefood.

I also know of several old dogs who don’t want to eat anything but my food. I am glad that I can help those owners squeeze a few more years of life into their companion. My oldest dog just turned 20. She still wants to go like she always has..

My dog Buddy is so lucky. Dee is my best friend and she is always sending home something new for him to try. Whenever I come home from her house he has to see what kind of goodies she sent him.He has yet to refuse any of the flavors. His favorite is themore sweet potatoe. I'm very picky about what I feed Buddy and do not hesitate to feed him any of the food Dee makes. Like she says "If I won't eat it,it does not go into my food".

I love Peoplefood for Dogs and have been feeding it for years! I began using it when I had to give medications with food, and the dogs loved it so much I couldnt stop! I will always feed Peoplefood for Dogs with my normal dry food.

I use this very good food as an addition food to the holistic diet I use in my boarding kennel. It works well for sensitive stomachs, and as a treat. My Corgis eat a raw diet, but love the chicken-sweet potato and oatmeal as an after-run snack at agilitymore trials.

Wonderful dog food made by a wonderful person. Dee and her products are a true asset to our animal welfare community here in Bedford County, VA.

Bubele onesies and lap tees have a loop sewn into the side seam so there is always a place to attach a pacifier. Each onesie and tee comes with the simple Snappy which replaces the old pacifier clip that slips off. Instead, the Snappy has snaps on each end to attach to the loop and then to pacifier. No more lost or dirty pacifiers!

When delivering my youngest son 2 years ago, I suffered a cardiac arrest and DIC from an amniotic fluid embolism. I had coded during delivery and they had to perform compressions while delivering my son via emergency c-section. Compressions were preformed for about 45 minutes until they got me back but was put into a drug induced coma where I would rest my body. It was thought I wouldn’t make it through the night, but 2 weeks later, I walked out of the hospital walking and talking, although I had minor brain damage.

The brain damage was not severe but it did cause me to think in very simplistic terms. For example, with a newborn to care for, I just wanting a bib that would protect from leaking under the chin. I also wanted a receiving blanket that was bigger and had a little stretch to actually be able to swaddle him! I was confused how you could achieve swaddling with those small flannel blankets they give. I then developed the mix and match line where each piece would coordinate with one another so it would make dressing baby easier for parents and then came along the idea to add a loop to the side seam. After adding the loop, I realized that the modern day pacifier clip would not work. I bought a spool of grosgrain ribbon and I already had a snap press so I began making a pacifier string that just snapped instead of a clip. Occasionally, I have a tough time remembering what the names of things are, although I always knew what the function was! This is how the Snappy got it’s name!

Inventor: Kris Weisblatt

Kris Weisblatt is a mom of 2 healthy, growing boys who are now 5 and 2 and is married to a great husband who continues to support all the inventions and crazy ideas.  Kris grew up in upstate NY and moved down to Long Island, NY where she lived with her husband, Adam and worked as a behavioral therapist with autistic children. Soon after they were married, they decided to start a family and move to upstate NY to be closer to Kris’ family.

Kris continued to work as a therapist but had to find her own clients. Soon after giving birth to their oldest son, Dylan, Kris started selling her home made educational material on eBay and made enough money to start working from home part time. The small eBay business took off and Kris began souring her materials and Autism fundraiser merchandise overseas.

Small, private clothing companies started to contact Kris to source their small productions overseas as well. This is when Kris’ first company was born: High Style Productions, Inc. Kris has been sourcing clothing production for small to medium sized clothing companies for over 5 years. This experience has helped in Kris’ journey in producing Bubele which is now her second company.

When I was in the hospital, soon after being taken out of the drug induced coma, I was not very coherent.  I had major memory problems at this point and I often said things that were a little inappropriate. One night I was sitting up in bed watching TV with my mother-in-law by my side and a nurse came in to give me meds. I asked the nurse to come back during “business hours” and refused the meds! The nurse took me very seriously as if I was in my right mind, and explained to me that it was a hospital and they didn’t have “business hours.”After arguing some, my mother-in-law took her aside and told her to go get permission to put the meds in my IV because I was not in my right mind to give consent. Who knows how long that nurse would have argued with me!

Great invention, wish I would have had this even just a year ago when my daughter used a paci still.

I was wondering how long the pacifier "string" was. It looks like it could be a strangulation hazard if disconnected from the outfit!
