History of product: How I came to develop the Flex-Power Unbreakable handles for broom and dust mops  was I broke three broom handles in one day. Yes, I was having a real bad day. I said there is got to be a better way to make a handle and broom without clumsy get in the way braces that still can break the broom handles.  After several years, with two aerospace and one chemical engineer working as a hobby, we developed a shock absorbing handle connector for push broom. We later developed a dust mop handle using the same concept but more flexible. We now have unbreakable handles for brooms and dust mops.  Our policy is if "You break it we will buy it".

Baby Bloak™ is the no hassle, safe alternative to coats and blankets for babies and toddlers. We've all seen it - a mom struggling to keep blankets from blowing off in the wind or Dad stuffing and unstuffing baby from a coat at the store. There had to be a better way, and now there is. Baby Bloak™ is the blanket that doesn't fall off, a quick coat alternative and completely safe to use with car seat straps!

Recommended and approved by Child Passenger Safety Technicians, Baby Bloak™ opens over the car seat, so that your child stays safe and warm.

And while safety is key, Baby Bloak™ is also convenient. You can put a Baby Bloak™ on in less than five seconds. That's right! Imagine being ready to go in seconds instead of minutes. Imagine no buttons, no sleeves, no zippers and no hassle!

The Baby Bloak™ can also be used with baby slings and strollers. Throw it over your shoulder for a quick, discreet nursing cover. Snap it up to form a walking poncho for toddlers.  Carry your baby not the car seat!

In 2007, Jennifer Albin, creator of the Baby Bloak™ and President of Sass and Fras, LLC, spent a night brainstorming an alternative to the traditional coat for her infant. As she liked to carry her son rather than carry the infant seat, she needed something that was easy-to –use, wouldn’t interfere with safety restraints, and was comfortable. She created a rear-access cross between a blanket and a cloak that she affectionately deemed the Baby Bloak.

Jennifer took her baby everywhere in his Baby Bloak and people
took notice. She sought testers all over the U.S.A. and moms loved
the bloak. In early 2008, she opened her website and within
months had shipped products to over thirty states and three
continents. The response to the Baby Bloak was overwhelming
and moms soon asked for lightweight and rain-proof styles.

Inventor: Jennifer Albion

Jennifer Albin is a mother, wife, inventor, and entrepreneur. She is the Founder/President of Sass and Fras, LLC, a company devoted to fun and functional products. She is the creator of the Baby Bloak™, a unique outerwear solution for infants and toddlers.

Holding a Masters degree from the University of Missouri, Jennifer built her company from the website up. After a momentous first year, Jennifer made the life-changing decision to leave a doctoral program and focus on her business. Life dealt her a big blow when her husband was laid off two months later.

They've persevered and are excited to be expecting a new Baby Bloak™ model in March.

Jennifer never carried her car seat due to the pain it caused in her c-section incision.  She created Baby Bloak after having her son's blanket blow off in the cold, Midwest wind too many times!

I have not had as many issues with blankets as the inventor of baby bloak but can see its usefulness and would use it if I had one!
