Being in the mechanical service industry and seeing first hand how often people are forced to deal with clogged drains got us to thinking.
Why do drains clog in the first place? Looking at the problem revealed the design of the p-trap is the obvious flaw. Water must actually travel up hill to exit the trap and continue down the drain. Also the falling water from the sink collides with the standing water in the trap reducing the velocity of the falling waste water. These two problems collectively slow the waters flow and allow dirt and debris to collect and settle in the trap area. Understanding that the p-trap is an essential part that prevents sewer gas from entering your home, we had to come up with a way to improve the drain function while leaving the desired trap benefits intact. What we realized was that if we could engineer a plumbing part that would improve the drain system in a way that not only addressed these 2 issues but also maintains pipe inside diameter. Enter SpinFlush® the solution to the common drain problem.
SpinFlush® added to the sink drain system actually improves your sink drain performance without harmful or expensive chemicals.

I think the point of the product is not clogs in the trap, but rather the SpinFlush creates a cyclone spin that hits a clog and gets it out or by having it a clog won't form. I could be wrong, but that's my take.

This will nat have any effect on a toilet since a toilet trap is built inside the toilet. It might move debris in traps but after 18 years of Plumbing I have never had a clog in a p-trap. The drain clogs in the pop-up and the tee in the wall. This product … more just like Draino won't stop clogs.
