I've always had a problem with keeping a pen handy with my journal that I take everywhere. It occurred to me that keeping a pen inside the journal would be super convenient. During the development process, I also thought that sticky flags would be a useful addition, and a strap for keeping the book closed really makes the product a complete organizational tool for anyone who takes notes.

Inventor: Alan Regala
Alan Regala is a mechanical engineer by training (MSME from Stanford) with product development experience in various industries, including: consumer products, medical device, toys and promotional products. Regala founded Everyday Innovations Inc. in 2005 with the intent to bring innovative, useful products to market. His first invention was PicoPad(R) Wallet Notes(R), the world's first credit card-sized notepad with mini pen that actually fits in wallet. Prior to founding the company, Regala worked at a world renowned design firm, IDEO.
I probably made over 25 prototypes to test the shape of the product to get the function and comfort level just right. The great thing about a product like this (a pen with sticky flags) is that there are TONS of people who can test it out for me very quickly!
Bottlelink is a patented device that connects to your baby's high chair, stroller, jump up toy, or any other place that your baby drinks his or her bottle.
Bottlelink prevents your baby's bottle from being thrown onto the floor. If your baby does throw their bottle, Bottlelink will catch it before it hits the floor. Your baby can then still access the bottle by pulling it back up.
Bottlelink prevents your baby from ingesting germs, dirt and hair from a bottle nipple that has hit the floor - especially from a public place. Bottlelink is also dishwasher safe.
Bottlelink also prevents you from playing the bottle "pick up" game... Have you ever been trying to make dinner and you've just given your baby a bottle, only to find out that in one minute they toss that bottle overboard and you're the one that has to pick it up, clean it off and give it back to them only for them to repeat this great game. Bottlelink is available in red chain with green silicone gripper. The link comes in yellow, blue, orange and red.
Bottlelink was developed by the parents of "Juliane", the queen of bottle throwing. If Bottlelink prevents your baby from ingesting dirt and germs as a result of them putting their bottle into their mouth after it has hit the floor - then Bottlelink has served its purpose. Additionally, if Bottlelink prevents you from wasting your time picking up and cleaning the bottle, then it again has served its purpose. We personally keep a Bottlelink attached to Juliane's stoller, high chair and car seat.
Inventor: Yvonne Rene' Freeland
Outside of Bottlelink®, Yvonne Rene' Freeland manages advertising for the third largest aerospace company in America. She holds a masters degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland.
In her spare time, Rene’ enjoys art, hot air balloons, spending time with family and traveling.
Bottlelink was invented out of necessity, but brought to market because one of Juliane’s preschool teachers wanted to know where she could get some. She said “you’ve got to patent it, there’s nothing like it out there.” The patent process was slow, but we’ve finally got the patent and are bringing it to market.

The slim design allows this pen to fit between pages of a book witout a large bump, and it's really comfortable to write with.
