WHAT ARE FROCKZ?
FROCKZ™ are form-fitting, removable, washable, universal sized slip covers for lampshades. FROCKZ allow a consumer to transform an existing lamp into a design statement by simply slipping a FROCKZ over their lamps existing shade. FROCKZ breathe new life into worn or tattered shades that are otherwise destined for a landfill. FROCKZ can transform even a thrift store shade into a design feature. FROCKZ inventors, Wanda and Shelly, jointly select textile designs used to manufacture FROCKZ™. True to the concept that FROCKZ are fashion for lamps and lighting new FROCKZ patterns and styles will be introduced each Spring and Fall and past designs will be retired.

FROCKZ are made from fashion fabric (polyester spandex blend). By borrowing textiles from the fashion industry FROCKZ is uniquely positioned as a design leader in home interiors.

HOW DO FROCKZ WORK?
FROCKZ simply stretch over and conform to the shape and size of an existing lampshade. FROCKZ come in 3 sizes – small, medium and large, and 2 shapes – cone or drum. Selecting a FROCKZ for your lampshade is easy. Simply decide the shape first: If the top opening of your shade is smaller than the bottom opening, select a cone. If the top and bottom openings of your shade are approximately the same, select a drum. Once you know your shape, size selection is even simpler. If your shade is smaller than a basketball, choose a small FROCKZ. If your shade is about the same size as a basketball, select a medium FROCKZ. If your shade is bigger than a basketball, chose a large FROCKZ. There are very few shades that a FROCKZ won’t fit.

FROCKZ™ inventors and co-owners, Shelly Dick and Wanda Guadamud are hard working, creative and smart working women. Although employed in other occupations; Wanda a business manager and Shelly, an attorney, the two share a single minded vision of bringing stylish lighting design concepts to average consumers.

Frustrated because their hometown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana had little to offer in the way of urban or metropolitan style lighting, Shelly and Wanda set their sights on devising a way to easily and affordably transform and modernize the look of store bought lampshades as a means of updating existing lighting fixtures. FROCKZ™ was born.

Those frockZ rock! It's time to redecorate. Whoever thought of this is a genius. What an inexpensive way to change the look of any room. You can even change them every season for a different look. These are great.

There are many surgeries that require the use of one or more surgical drains near the incisions. Although these surgical drains can be uncomfortable and inconvenient, they are important to the healing process. They were designed for a specific medical function and not for personal comfort. That is why we designed Surgi-Shorts. The shorts are available in 8 sizes and in the color White.

Benefits of Using Surgi-Shorts™
• Comfort – Surgi-Shorts™ are soft, cotton undergarments that can be comfortably worn beneath most clothing. The inside pockets hold the bulbs in place, eliminating the need for tape and allowing for more freedom of movement.
• Privacy – Surgi-Shorts™ inner pockets discreetly conceal tubes and bulbs, giving you assurance, whether at home or in public.
• Security – Surgi-Shorts™ ease the fear of disconnecting the tubes by providing secure pockets in which to place the bulbs.

In July 2006, I (Jackie Green) was diagnosed with breast cancer, and two weeks later I had a double mastectomy. I had my first experience with Jackson Pratt drains when I was sent home from the hospital with them TAPED to my abdomen. My initial fear was the possibility of accidentally pulling the tubes from my body. I then began a search to find a better way to secure the dangling bulbs. I was not successful. Surely there was a more convenient way than taping and un-taping the bulbs each time they needed to be drained. I was also at a loss as to how to secure and conceal the bulbs when going out in public. For these reasons, I had the idea to design what are now known as Surgi-Shorts™.

In the beginning, I created Surgi-Shorts™ for my own personal comfort and convenience. However, when I returned for additional surgery, my surgeon asked “What are you wearing?” After I explained the features and purpose of my design, she told me I should take my idea and develop it. Not only did she like my design, she approved of my wearing them into surgery, after which my bulbs were tucked neatly and securely in the pockets. My goal is to help make a difficult period a little more comfortable and convenient through the use of Surgi-Shorts™. Surgi-Shorts™ helped me manage my drains without assistance and gave me confidence to go out in public knowing my bulbs were discreetly secured. I want Surgi-Shorts™ to help others as much as they helped me.

Inventor: Jackie Green

My name is Jackie Green and I invented Surgishorts following surgeries that included the use of JP Drains. I have had drains with 5 different surgeries within 2 years. I am 53 years old and a 3 year survivor of breast cancer. Please visit WEARTV.com, Buddy Check 3 to see my interview.

The person that did the drawings was having a hard time and we were being so patient. He just couldn’t grasp what I was trying to tell him. A couple of months later his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and he went home and was able to do the drawing in one night.
