We (Troy Hill and friends) are avid golfers and found a need for this product. We purchased the rights to the product and added a clip for a towel holder making the product more multi-functional.

Jeff Hall, inventor of TUGA and vice president of sales adds, "I'm a golfer. When I first saw a club rest, I was intrigued, but thought it could do much more. I started to imagine something that looked like it belonged in a golf bag, was multipurpose, and convenient to use - almost like a modern day caddie. TUGA addresses many issues for the golfer, greatly enhancing the golfing experience."
Entrepreneur: Troy Hill
Troy Hill is one of the avid golfers who saw the need for TUGA. He also saw ways to make it better. Instead of inventing a similar version from scratch Troy saw an opportunity to purchase the existing invention (TUGA) and to try his turn at retailing the item.
We tried out the the reality show Fore Inventors Only on the Golf Channel. I guess television is not our thing. We didn't get a call back. But had a good time.
Instead of cooling the entire bottle, the Ravi cools the wine itself!
Simply store the inner cartridge of the Ravi in the freezer so that it is always ready to go. When needed, remove the Ravi from the freezer, attach the base and place it in the neck of a bottle, pour, and “Voila!” When the wine hits the glass, it will be at the right temperature. In fact, as the wine flows through the Ravi, its temperature drops by an average of 12 degrees Fahrenheit in an instant.
The Ravi also allows you to regulate the wine temperature greater by covering the air inlet to slow the flow. The more time wine spends in the Ravi, the colder it gets. The Ravi is the smallest and fastest wine refresher on the market today.
The perfect gift for any wine enthusiast!
Inspired by the worldly notion of respecting the wine we drink, Ravi Solution, Inc., makers of the Ravi Instant Wine Refresher, was formed in Montreal, Canada in 2006. Three friends, and the company founders, Jean-Francois Jodoin, Martin Tetreault, and Marc-André Nadeau were frustrated that far to often, wine service temperature was often much too warm and thus sought to find an instantaneous way to cool their adored vintages.
Inventor: Jean-Francois Jodoin
More than a wine lover, Jean-Francois Jodoin was born with a passion for innovations and for technological advancement. After a successful career as a chief developer in a large corporation he decided to launch and manufacture the Ravi. Jean-Francois hobbies are often related to sports cars and motor bikes… it’s no surprise that he is the mind behind the fastest wine chiller on the market today!
Ravi’s internal tube is made from the same stainless steel used for fermentation tanks. The Ravi maintains the wine’s characteristics and never alters the taste. By cooling the wine as you pour you avoid wine that gets either too warm by sitting out or too cold by being placed in a wine bucket.

I've tried this a few times now, and it works great with reds. Chills the wine just enough to perfect drinking temperature. The instructions also say it's meant for reds, not sure how cold it could get whites.

Great product. No such thing as chilling wine too fast. Yes red needs to "breath" but it can do that once poured. Ideal for both red and whites. Very cool!

Fast chilling may hurt the wine.

Red wine serving temperature is most important! Serving red at 70 or 74 is way too warm. Wine makers all recommend to have your red chill or around 60. Taste the difference!!! Taste the fruit not the alcohol!

Looks like a cool idea, but why show it with red wine?

This is interesting. I was just complaining about wet clubs the other morning. I'm sold. And to Susan - did you see the telescoping ball fishing feature? Those alone are usually $20 - not a bad deal for a regular golfer

Keeps my clubs in tip-top shape! No more wet grips and "wish I had the 9 iron" moments. I highly recommend it!
